To participate in the devotion of Jesus as the Divine Mercy. This devotion is based on the writings of St. Faustina Kowalska, an uneducated Polish nun, who, in obe-dience to her spiritual director, wrote a diary of about 600 pages recording the revelations she received about God’s mercy. The most popular form of this devotion is the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy, a particular set of prayers peti-tioning for God’s mercy, which are prayed using an ordinary set of rosary beads.
